so this is my picture from July of 2008. I am standing outside the cafe aorta... a small cafe in the hispanic neighborhood of pilsen where I stayed a good part of my time in US in 2008.
there are lots of stories associated with this place....this street... the people. I guess those stories will get due share later on....
for now, i just thought of uploading this pic coz ts of a place that was as attractive for ppl as fire for moths and flies...yet as fragile as a matchstick to burnout... before its time is due... unfortunately...this place got closed much before it should have been....the last I saw of it in december was a closed and abandoned corner store....
yet this picture seems so real...like a typical beautiful chicago summer day.... i am trying to emphasize on BEAUTIFUL..... chicago is a great beautiful and lovely city.....i miss it...
